Pam and Jim

Since I'm using fictional characters from, in some cases, current t.v. shows, I guess I should warn you that the wedding invitation ensembles in my Etsy shop do contain spoilers. So consider yourself warned, especially if you haven't been watching t.v. for a couple of years and are just now catching up on the likes of House and The Office. And in most cases, the fictional weddings for which these fictional characters come to me for their invitations are only extrapolations, if you will. I don't think any of the fictional couples I'm using for inspiration have actually gotten hitched.

Now that that's out of the way, let me introduce the latest design, just posted to the shop earlier today.

I have one more spring/summer ensemble that I hope to post by the weekend and then I think I'll take a break from designing wedding invitations until I have the opportunity to do it for a real couple. I should also add that I'm offering a little promotion for the summer wedding season: 15% off all orders placed between now and June 15th. Check the shop for more details...

Wow Becky, this is gorgeous! I think this may be my favorite one yet. I love the colors!

Thanks, Mer! It's funny, I had the butterfly and a pretty similar palette all picked out and then I came across the wrapping paper at Paper Source and decided to tweak my colors a bit to match. So I have to give them most of the credit for the color combination. I'm working on getting myself set up so that I can screenprint the decorative paper elements myself and that will give me more control over coordinating palette with everything else.

I love all your invitations - very professional! I thought of you the other day as I was watching The Early Show and they interviewed the couple from The Guiding Light who was a couple on the show and is now getting married in real life. I wish I'd paid better attention to who they were. You should send them a sample set for their invitations.

Thanks, Jo! I feel like the soap opera thing has happened before, but maybe we're thinking of the same couple. I'll have to look it up because that would be pretty funny (not unlike Cameron and Chase, whose real-life counterparts were, in fact, engaged for a time).
