a new year, a new design (or several)

I've been a busy little bee! January was a pretty good month for me. I'm keeping good on various New Year's resolutions, both personal and professional, like training for a half-marathon and adding new designs to the shop! I worried my running schedule would interfere with work, running two weekday mornings after I drop my son off at daycare, but on the contrary, I think I added more new products in one month than in the entire second half of 2010! So this post will serve as a quick wrap-up of new designs and products, beginning with not one, but two new wedding invitations suites - a cherry blossom design in yellow and gray:

And a calla lily design in chartreuse and Paper Source's newest addition, fig:

Both of these designs are available as DIY digital files as well, here and here. Next up, I created these 50th birthday party invitations with a fishing theme and a palette of deep purple and moss green for a family friend's husband's surprise event:

Once again, this design is also available as a digital file for the DIY party planner!  Also in the babies and birthdays category is what I hope to be the first in a series of collaborations with my husband, who provided the hand-drawn illustrations for the entire ensemble!

Using a couple of sheets of illustrations of the gorilla and snake character in a variety of poses and gestures, I created the invites pictured above, as well as coordinating thank you notes, favor tags, hang tags, and cupcake toppers!  You'll receive 10% off when you order three or more coordinating items!

Last but not least (I added an entirely new, ready-to-send stationery and prints section to my shop last month and filled out the DIY category, but I'll save those for another post!), I can't seem to stop adding Valentine's Day cards to my shop, even less than a week out!  You can browse the entire Valetine's Day section here.  Free shipping for the last-minute shopper!  Happy V-Day! May your engagement dreams come true! (You know where to go for save-the-dates!)
