two new save-the-dates!

This past month I added two new save-the-date designs (and one new printing style!) to my Etsy shop, beginning with a layered A2 card created to coordinate with the evergreen + woodgrain wedding invitation ensemble:

Like the invite, the save-the-date is layered and trimmed flush (i.e. no border, as in many of my other designs) with a screenprinted woodgrain patterned paper on the back:

Also new is a speech bubble photo postcard, printed on a digital press on 14 pt. C1S (that means the back is matte...better for addressing!) glossy cover weight card stock:

This design was originally created for a client, so the details would change, obviously, with the most important being the photo - the central design piece that dictates color, font, placement of the speech bubbles, etc.

Perfect for the couple that wants a photo save-the-date but doesn't necessarily want a magnet or have enough photos for the photo booth film strip style bookmarks.

And by outsourcing the printing to a professional digital printer, the client gets the best of both worlds: great image quality and thick, sturdy card stock! Samples of this printing style are available here.
