slow August, new designs

Well, I seem to be finally experiencing the summer slow-down I was kind of expecting a couple of months ago.  It's a mixed bag, of course, but I'm trying to keep from fretting over Etsy's recent changes to how potential clients search on the site (especially considering most of my business comes from searches within Etsy), and take advantage of this hopefully brief breather to add some of the half-dozen or so new design ideas I've had mostly ready to go over the last few weeks.

First up, another design for late fall and winter weddings, perhaps - featuring a set of oak tree silhouettes and a woodgrain patterned screenprinted paper belly band.

This design is somewhat based on a new design I created for a repeat customer a couple of months ago, for their wedding next month.  They're getting married at a dairy farm in North Carolina so in addition to oak trees and wood grain, we also included a set of goat silhouettes, a detail I thought might be a bit too specific for a general design going in my shop!

I also simplified the palette a bit, sticking with white and "paper bag" for the main card stock, and including accents of peacock turquoise blue and chocolate brown, with a metallic shimmer bronze backing on the invite that matches the belly band paper.

The paper used for the belly band comes in a number of different color combinations so this design is truly, as always, fully customizable to work with any wedding palette!

I have at least two more designs I should be able to post this week and next so stay tuned for those!
