Two new designs for Spring & Summer 2012!

As I mentioned in my last post (but didn't actually get around to posting that week) I have two new designs that I put in the shop during a slower than usual August, right before heading out on my third and final summer vacation (what can I say, being self-employed is hard work). As with the oak tree and woodgrain design, these two new designs, perfect for spring and summer 2012 weddings, are inspired by recent custom designs, with minor tweaking, primarily in terms of color. Without further delay, here they are!

First up, a confetti/polka dots corner punch is paired with a minimalist lovebirds motif in this "night" navy blue and "clover" green ensemble.

In the original design, the patterned paper used for the envelope liner was also used as a belly band; I've replaced that in the sample design with baker's twine, which I'm a little obsessed with lately!  Each option has its pros and cons as I do love this patterned paper used for the liner.

A "mad lib" style RSVP postcard and additional information insert are tucked into the pocket of the diagonal folder.  For more information, check out the Etsy listing!

Next up, a dotted circle punch is used to represent billy ball flowers, paired with a set of four dahlia silhouettes in two colors.  I've used "sunshine" yellow, and "strawberry" and "blossom" pinks; I may have missed the honeysuckle boat, but this would be a great color combination if you're interested in incorporating that color into your wedding palette.

Also new in this design are graphic representations of your guests' meal selections (can you tell I'm trying to change up the typical response card a bit?).  I've done this a couple of different ways now, using line drawings of more obvious entree choices - steak, for example - but I'm a sucker for silhouettes so I went with this version on the sample design.

Finally, another element I never tire of, the tucked belly band, which just peeks out of the top and bottom of the invite from the front, but provides a beautiful spot in the back for the response set.  this flocked paper matches the "strawberry" pink perfectly and, although it's hard to tell from the images, actually has some three-dimensional, velvety texture to it. Check out my Etsy listing for all the details!

Congratulations to two of my summer couples, Nicole & Kevin and Rachel & Jeremy, and thank you for the inspiration!
